Water Heaters

According to the Department of Energy, most households in Marin County still use storage tank hot water heaters to meet their residential needs. However, both tank and tankless hot water systems exist. Both may be fueled by gas, oil, propane, electric or solar energy. At Gene Burch Plumbing, Heating & Air, we install a variety of tank and tankless water heaters and can advise you on the best water heater for your home.

WHY GO TANKLESS?

While storage tank water heaters are more common, a proven alternative has been found with the tankless water heater.

Tankless water heaters are often referred to as an “on-demand” system, because they only heat water when the hot water tap is turned on. Once the hot water is turned on, a powerful gas or electric heater activates and instantly heats the water running through the coils in the unit. In contrast, storage tank heaters constantly heat a large supply of water, even if there is no immediate demand for hot water.

With tankless water heaters, you save on the costs associated with constant heating and reheating of water. With a limited amount of hot water it can produce at one time, tankless water heaters are great options for small families and commercial buildings where the hot water supply isn’t large.

Great Service Is What We Do!

I would highly recommend Gene Burch Plumbing Heating & Air again, without hesitation.
